Daybreak Non Profit Housing is excited to feature our residents at the second annual fundraiser on October 19, highlighting our theme of Rebuilding Lives, Inspiring Hope.

Robert is the keynote speaker, Leif will perform his original “spoken word” and Bob the pianist will greet you when you arrive.

Local musician Tariq Anwar will entertain, and an array of auction items will be available for bids including a 5-day stay at a Barbados condo, a generous Via Rail credit, restaurant and hotel vouchers and a pass to the 2019 Jazz Festival among other items. And there are still more surprises to be revealed.

Help us rebuild lives and inspire hope, and receive a $50 tax receipt for each ticket purchased!

Past Events

The Ontario Trillium Foundation provided a grant to Daybreak to assess the housing needs of LGBTQ2S adults in Ottawa. This report is now available for distribution. The Advisory Committee will be meeting in late January to explore the recommendations as part of next steps. If you are from the Community and wish to participate, please contact Daybreak at 613-236-8070 ext 724!

Imagine 35 years of inspiring hope and rebuilding lives in the Ottawa community! On October 18, local talented artists Renee Landry, Alex Nicholson, Amanda Wilson and Genna Giampaolo performed musical theatre medley of songs, and blues, jazz and opera with Claire Hafner, Sara Henry and Risa Tonita. Our residents, board and staff want to thank all our supporters who helped us raise close to $10 000 to design and offer quality and tailored programming.
